850 estate spoiler loose

Hi everyone, I have just purchased an 850 na manual petrol. Its a dream come true to own a volvo estate.

The spoiler is wobbly and I worry that it will come off. I have had a look and the bracket with the the torx screws and they are are tight. where else is it bolted on and how can tighten it?

remove the spoiler completely and check the bracket is not corroded, check the torx too, just replace and tighten, should be fine

From what I can recall when I swapped mine from an 850 to the V70 there are a couple of types of bracket, mine has three bolts clamping the bracket to the tailgate hinge arm and two bolts into the spoiler, but there also seems to be one where the bracket is not solidly attached to the tailgate hinge but relies on a hook around the hinge arm with a 'rubber' packing piece to work against the screws pulling the bracket towards the spoiler, if you've got the type with the rubber packing piece maybe it has deteriorated and is allowing the spoiler to move.
