volvo 240 Estate GLT m.o.t till April 2014/tax till may 2014 / 105.000 plenty S/H , 5 Speed manual , leather inside is really tear +rip free , carpets good , body work OK wheel arches flakes of rust on 2 of them , engine smoke free + noise free , gearbox nice ,alloys x5 really good pm for price Note might consider a PX volvo 940 or 740

I would dearly love this car but do not have 30 posts so can't PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I have a 740 GLE man. estate just pre cat. very straight on the body, mechanically good also but used as a workhorse and so needs tlc. all accommodation seats etc good as is headlining, sliding sun roof. No fuel gauge or trip, 7 seats. Based in west midlands between Cannock and Telford.

if folk would of asked the reason i was looking for a PX i would of explained that FJames refuse to insure me with a manual car so i can only get insured with a auto car due to replacement hip

Two thoughts...

If there is a belief that a fraudulent transaction is taking place, it is absolutely right that the matter is questioned...

...but...there must be reasonable grounds to suspect that there is mischief afoot. Assuming that the seller isn't looking to make a quick buck (which would be both against the spirit of this community, and grounds for registration as a trader), I see no reason to raise the alarm here.

I will now be tidying up the thread!

I agree it was a good thread until a certain member had to go and spoil it,most of all, the car was withdrawn from sale due to this member sticking his/her nose in.

Was it? I didn't see any reference to that. I assumed the reference to the removal from Gumtree (by the previous owner) was because the new owner (our thread-starter) has now bought it...?
