hi. andrew thanks for the photos the 2nd photo left hand side as you look at it appears to have a piece chipped off , it is hard to tell from the photo. dunlop.

It's just dirt. I gave it a quick rub with a damp kitchen towel and have added a new photo. As I said they could all do with a clean. There are no serious imperfections such as chips off, just some light kerb rash.

hi/ andrew, glad to hear from you. i am replying to your pm message,my 240 failed its mot yesterday on bottom ball joint,i have taken old ball off and hope to have new ball joint on this morning. i hope the garage will check it this afternoon and give me the mot. i will be back intouch later today thank you andrew. dunlop.

A ball joint is not too bad to fix but don't forget to have an alignment done afterwards, there is movement in the wishbone bolt holes that can affect the geometry. Look forward to hearing from you.

andrew, ball joint is now done i will see if the garage will give me a ticket in the morning, he is not a bad lad, and knows i do my own repairs. but in the past before i retired i could never get my car booked in on a saturday, if could get the mot tomorrow and tracking done then this Sunday would suite me fine. all depends on tomorrow. do you know how far you are from manchester, if it isnt comfortable do do it in the day, i will hitch the caravan up and do a overnight stay on a campsite . i will speak to you again tomorow afternoon dunlop.
