Default Locking wheel nuts

Can anyone tell me if these locking wheel nuts from an 850 will fit my C70 convertible fitted with 17" canisto wheels?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=220418803321

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

I think it might depend on what year your C70 is - can you add the info to your signature via your 'Control Panel'?

If it's one of the early ones running on Canistos then I think they should fit.

HTH, Pete

Thanks for your reply Pete. I've tried to edit my signature but I can't see the results on my posting as yet.

My car is a MY2001 C70 2.4 T GT LPT convertible.

Thanks

Andy

Edit: Yes, I can see it now!

The ones in the ebay link look a lot like mine:

http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/...oducts_id=1972

These have slip rings so if you put them on and then damage the key they are an absolute pain to remove.

I'd recommend buying new ones just to be safe.

Mine came with a card that had the key code number on so you could reorder a new key. Doesn't look like there is the card on the ebay one so "in theory - I'm not accusing anyone" the seller could order a new key and pay you a visit and remove your alloys if he/she so wished.

OK thanks for that. Unfortunately, the reason I'm looking for new locking nuts is because I don't have the key code number for mine and the key is on it's last legs (part has broken off). I only want to use my key one more time to remove my locking nuts to replace them with new ones. I think I might take your advice and order new ones.

Regards

Andy
