Question New Type of Wiper Blade

Hi,

Has anyone tried these new Flatblade wipers from Bosch or Valeo with the adaptor that allows them to be fitted onto conventional wiper arms ?

Any comments ?

I got them on my S60 along with new type wiper arms ..no problems at all..they dont make that standard thump sound after every swipe etc and do a very good job keeping windscreen clean..mines are Volvo originals..

Default bosch aero

having always used bosch super wiper blades, i have now changed to the flat aero ones, and as s60 driver states, they are very much quiter, and leave the screen without smears.

where did you get your blades from for the 850's i have a v70 classic.

could post the link to the exact part as some ebay adverts are confusing with their model years. probably type errors but they don't always make it easy.

many thanks russ.

I bought some cheapo aero-type off Ebay and they were rubbish as they didn't hug the screen.
I then bought some genuine Bosch aeros from partsforvolvosonline and they are brilliant. Very quiet with a good clean.

use the bosch aero on my 855. work really well. don't lift at speed in windy conditions and seem to be a lot longer lasting. got mine from gsf. really reasonable price too.

Default bosch aeroblades

having used bosch conventional blades, which screeched when in use, and lasted about a year, i decided to try the bosch aeroblades, ok they are twice the price, but no screetching, and like other replies have stated, they do a superb job of cleaning the screen without smears.
they have been on the car now two years, with no sign of deteriation.

I always use the convention Bosch wipers on my Volvos, which are great, but a German friend who has recently fitted a set of the Aero wipers to his Vento is really impressed with their performance and is urging me to try them. Perhaps I'll fit them when the existing ones need replacing?
