Default Changed drive shaft now abs fault. HELP!!

Hi all,
So I recently changed the off side drive shaft on my 2004 S60 2.0t Auto after having a nightmare trying to do the CV joint.
Anyway all was well for a few days but now I have Brake Failure Stop Safely displaying alternately with Engine System Service Required.
I guess the latter error is due to the former.
I suspect that the fact it's happened a few days after changing the drive shaft is coincidence (Is there such a thing?)
So I've fit new ABS/Speed sensors and a new modulator ring onto the near side but still no joy.
Is there anything else I should consider before trying to find someone to refurb the BCM?
Many Thanks.

Did you use a new driveshaft bolt and torque it to the correct setting including the angle?

Yes new bolts used and torque up correctly.
I don't know what you mean by angle though?

The torque setting is 35Nm + 90°, meaning you have to tighten the bolt a further 90° after you have torqued it to 35Nm.

Ah sorry yes I see what you mean now.
Yes I torqued them up plus 90 degrees.

I'm assuming the abs rings are the same on the old and new shafts?

You mention that it was OK for a few days, so it's likely that the ABS rings were OK.
In my experience, when the rings aren't reading it throws an ABS and traction related error, but it's not as serious sounding as 'Brake Failure Stop Safely'
You really need the codes read with VIDA, but i'd suggest first checking the brake fluid level.

^^ and that.

And a curveball: How is your battery / charging? I'm not sure that I agree that the Brake Failure warning would automatically cause the Engine Service error also. I think that possibly indicates a more systematic error, possibly communications (wiring / Canbus fault) or, as I've suggested above, low system voltage.

I've experienced exactly the same Brake Failure messages before, when I've spent a few hours servicing my XC90 with the key left in the ignition. The standby current drain is considerable and can easily fully discharge a battery in 2-3 hours. If your battery is weak and/or the alternator can't supply a good charge, maybe you've electrical supply issues.

Just a thought.

How's your brake fluid level?
Is the fluid level sensor wire attached properly?

Yes ABS rings were the same on old and new.
Hadn't thought of brake fluid level so I'll check that.
Where would I find the Brake fluid sensor so I can check if it's connected?
I'll check the battery also.

Weirdly, today I went out and the engine system service warning was there but the Brake Failure Stop Safely message didn't come on for 5 miles?!!
