Try Lakes Volvo breakers, I think they’re still trading.

Interesting! Have seen a few of your posts regarding the throttle body, and just put up a post myself.

The thing is, when I took off the air pipe, the flap is FULL OPEN, which struck me as odd, but it seems to default to full open, and when you close it by hand and let go, it springs back to open each time

Took mine off yesterday during an alternator change & mine was closed. It's a petrol tho', but I'd expect yours & mine to both be the same - & to be closed.

If the connector/wire/battery fails I'd expect the failover state to be closed & not WOT. Maybe recalibrating with VIDA will fix it.

Cheers

Paddy

Sorry Mike, I had to remind myself. Have you found a solution yet?

Hi. Sorry for delay, but only saw your reply now. I need to check my profile settings as I don't seem to get notifications of replies.

I have more or less given up on my car now. It's a 2005 2 litre diesel S40 and started off where it wouldn't rev up, but at this stage the car won't even start any more. Have primed fuel system, done the throttle body or anti shudder valve, opened all injectors to check for fuel etc and today I even tried easy start fluid and it just won't even start any longer
