Thumbs up Photo of tyre pressure sticker - XC70

Hi

Could anyone kindly send me a photo of their tyre pressure sticker - my 98 XC70 doesn't have one in the petrol flap, so not sure what pressures should be.

Standard wheels and 205 tyres fitted...

Thanks very much

Default XC70 tyre pressure...

Or if anyone with an XC70 (MK1) with 205 tyres can tell me the recommended pressure that would be good too. With no sticker the manual states nothing... Looking on the forum there seems to be a 36psi all round as a popular number - just conscious that the AWD's are heavier...

Thanks!

Default Tyre pressures

Sticker on my std V70 says, for all tyre sizes incl 205x15 and 205x16:

Up to 160 kmh, 32 front 30 rear light load, 35 front 41 rear full load

Over 160kmh, 36 front and rear, 38 front 45 rear full load

Not quite sure what you can make of this - it's an enormous range. On my FWD V70 I go for 32 all round on Goodrich tyres. On SWBO's S70 it's at 36 all round on Yokohamas because we noticed even shoulder wear indicating under-inflation!

Hope this helps

Cheers

Jack

My XC70 99 model shows tyre pressures as:

Front 32psi 1-3 people 36psi 4 plus load.

Rear 33psi 1-3 people 41psi 4 plus load

These are for 205/50/16

Hope this helps
