Have you tried to uninstall the app and then installing it? I have heard that it helps for some people.

Hi folks, quick question and sorry if covered elsewhere but if I put my current music collection on a USB flash drive and plug it in to the USB port (I'm getting smartphone connectivity so should have one spare) will it recognise and sort etc via the Spotify app? Just looking on the Amazon Prime day deals and there's a 64gb flash drive which will more than hold my music (currently have to cut some of it out for my 32g micro SD card for the VW)

It won't use Spotify but Sensus Media Player will index and play the tracks from a USB stick. You can then access them on the central screen by artist, album, etc.

Your individual music tracks must have proper and complete ID tags for it to work. Even then, the indexing routine isn't perfect and struggles with compilation albums.
