Default XC T8 Battery Range from a full charge

I am curious to hear from XC T8 owners, I guess 2017 onwards, or when the major update was done, I same MY19 is same for Batteries. (I assume the XC90 Battery System is same as XC60)

I would like to know Peoples Electric Battery Range when you turn the ignition on after a full charge? or the highest range reading they have had.

I know Conditions change things rapidly, but you would like to think that the initial range from a full charge when you just turn on ignition is fairly universal.
(off course preheating etc or using the battery prior to turn on does not really count)

I have an MY19 XC90, just delivered two weeks ago. So far I consistently get 21 miles range reported from a full charge in Hybrid mode. If I set to Pure it reports 25 miles. Support site talks about this here:
https://www.volvocars.com/uk/support...a80151310787c4

I have found that this reading remains accurate as the battery is consumed, i.e. drive 3 miles, remaining range is 18 in hybrid mode and so on until it's empty.

I know it's summer and batteries degrade with time so it will be a different story in winter, but so far so good.

Thanks for that and the link, sounds about right then, mine is generally 21, and most I have seen is 25.

My battery reports a 21-mile range on a full charge, but rarely delivers more than 15. 2019MY XC60.

My my18.5, so the larger 10.4kw battery, also reports 21 starting on hybrid, 25 starting on pure. Yesterday I flattened the battery completely doing 20 miles of around town stop start, several short journeys, AC on, no ICE cut in at all. I was on pure all day. Thought that was pretty good.

Have a 2017 XC90 T8. We get about 14 miles, but display will always say 21, or 24 if you are in pure mode. That said, we do a lot of small journeys, so the stop/start and climate control must eat into it. Always forget to check the trip meter on long runs for exactly when it conks out.

We are getting over 60mpg though, which is great. Would be amazing if it had a 50 mile range or so.

I agree if it was 50 mile range even 40, pretty well would cover 90% of my journeys, and then the 60 mile odd ones would be a piece of cake as once you hit 60 odd mile journeys, you are generally hitting some DC or motorway that would be ICE anyhow
