Do the keys supplied with an XC60 come colour coded to the cars interior or do I have to buy the same colour leather cases for them?

They do come, as default, in leather shells that match with the car’s interior for Inscription trim XC60s.

With momentums you just get black plastic covered keyfob.. Inscription and R get keys in same material as interior..

Thank you. I've ordered a Momentum with a couple of upgrades so I'll get myself a leather case for the key too.

It seems that the leather covers are vulnerable to (excessive) wear.
The plastic ones may not look as nice (but who cares, unless you drop it on the table in the
pub to impress), but they are durable.

Well here is my xc90 key after around 14 months

Wondering about getting a replacement cover off eBay!

There is one for sale on ebay in the charcoal leather, but I was thinking the same as you and put practicality over looks. I've ordered a leather sleeve off ebay instead for a fraction of the price, its smart and its leather.

Get the dealer to replace it. Apparently its a warranty issue. I got mine replaced last week and the car is 16 months old. According to the dealer the new replacements have a far thick plating on them so should last longer. I asked what if it happens again, the dealer said 'they will replace it again'

That really doesn't look great

I wonder what other items were in the same pocket as the key.
Mine still looks as new after a year.

Same here...still looks like new, after 16 months of use. I keep it in the pocket along with a soft leather wallet - but no other keys or solid objects.
