Default Paint touch up pen

Hi everyone. Whilst driving on the motorway, a vehicle in front of me flicked up a piece of gravel that has left a fairly large chip in the paint on my plastic bumper. It’s roughly the size of a 20p piece. The chip has removed the paint cleanly with a smooth edge and no damage or scuff to the bumper underneath.

I’d like to do a quick repair myself using a touch up pen as it’s got a few other stone chips that I’ll sort at the same time. I’m sure it will get more chips too and I’m planning to run it for a few more years yet.

Where is the best place to get a decent touch up paint match? Halfrauds have been ok in the past (20+ years since I last tried their paint though). What alternatives are there and how do the main dealers stack up for these?

I recently bought a non genuine touch up bottle. Code 601 Classic Red, not even close.
Phoned local Volvo agent, price similar to non genuine, near perfect, taking 30 years the car has lived through into account.
No more non genuine for me!🧐👍

Paint factors should be able to mix a touch up sample:~
The descent shops will carry the codes- generally a small tin or transferred into a spray can.

From your Volvo main dealer as per the car’s VIN.

Any idea of the cost of a touch up pen at the main dealer?

I bought mine on eBay - genuine set including lacquer and they look up the correct paint code from your reg. Maybe a little more expensive than a dealer visit but more convenient for me. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-V...-127635-2958-0
