Default Wanted: 240 Kickdown Cable

Hi All,

I'm looking for a replacement kickdown cable for a 1990 240 B230F AW71. The part number is 3502494 and product number is 1012490.

It's discontinued and I'm finding it very tricky to track one down. If someone has one lying around or can point me to a good source, I would really appreciate any help.

Best wishes,

Matthew

Mathew:~
I don't have a direct answer for the cable- this company https://speedycables.com/ makes them to order and has been around for quite some time in the classic car market, I would think that they could provide a solution but other similar companies do exist.

(Have you tried ebay for breakers or similar)
Good Luck
Bob.

Thank you all for the great suggestions.

Speedy have said they can make up a new one if I'm unable to track one down.

Best,

Matthew

https://www.cvi-automotive.se/en/art...00700900s90v90

it shouldn't be handed for RHD or LHD because it goes from the engine to the gearbox which would be the same in all cars and the CVI site is very good at saying if it is for RHD or LHD.

It is listed as Kickdown cable, AW70/71 '79-'98 L=1115 mm, case 920 mm (200/700/900/S90/V90)

Also I ordered stuff from there and it arrived in 3 days, that's quicker than from brookhouse

I also found one on ebay listed for V90 which ties in with what CVI say

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OEM-VOLVO...cAAOSwmjZeRmaK

Also the part number shown in the CVI listing is 1239932 are you sure the one you have is correct it may have been superseded by 1239932

hope this helps

Andy
