Connecticut Trumph Register British Gathering, Wickham Park
Forum;
I was invited to attend this gathering today...and silly me, I was so busy inspecting a sea of SUs, ZSs, Weber carburetors on some beautifully restored, some well patinaed roadcars, from Jag to MG to Triumph, to Land Rover, that I forgot to get any snaps. I'll see if I can link someone's. Today started overcast, but turned into a lovely autumn day here in Connecticut, and it will be topped of with a homemade German plumcake (with real whipped cream!) this afternoon at the Embassy veranda . Not much technical content to this posting, sorry, but I did explain to a Jag owner that the 2"SUs on his DOHC engine, have the HS8 designation, because the number after the HS denotes the number of 8ths over 1 inch... Cheers |

Had I known, I might have tried to come as the CT MG Club was also invited.
I was home today, trying to fix the lawnmower. I took the PV444 to Home Depot to get a part and the Paradise Club (I think that's the name - vintage cars) was having a meeting on the New Milford Green as I went by. |
