Thanks, that’s good then.
I went for the piper cross filter - cylindrical - bit cheaper than the k&n. I couldn’t get the ram air kit past the boss 😁

i've sorted the problem with the vibrations. The Powerflex lower gearbox/chassis bushes were not seat correctly in the housing. I removed it all, cleaned it up, then burnt the old rubber coating off of one (which i'd previously failed to do...), then went around the inside with the dremal. refitted, and its as a sweet as a nut now. (when i fitted them i had such a problem getting the old out, i'd got a bit fed up and just slapped them in.

have also just ordered the top mounts in Powerflex flavor, so those will be done at the weekend. i'd delayed doing those as i was terrified that the lower mount ones caused such a vibration i thought i'd be swopping them out.

i've ordered it as i felt there was a vibration when i installed the powerflex gearbox bushes on my T5. i'm planning on doing the upper bushes this weekend so thought it was worth a punt to avoid losing the existing refinement when i change it.
i would have thought it would do so on your D5 too as it originally came off the XC90 D5 model.

mine is a v70 T5. i have put a square black polybush on the top engine mount, my gearbox is polybushed and i also have the black polybush inserts in my subframe bushes, the whole dash shook including steering wheel and keys, once the damper was fitted it all disappeared, also i fitted it the way that guy had it fitted and the shaking came back, look how i fitted it, all vibration has gone

Hi so how does it work?
has it got a spring weight in it that removes the resonance of the vibration ?
how does your car feel now you have poly bushed the rear subframe,
also you asked about the braces, I still have not fitted my lower rear one but I will do very soon and I now have ordered the lower front brace, it should be here with in a week,

I found this on R forum and they said it transformed the car,
