Default Millers Diesel Power

I've got an s60 D5 on an 03 and running fine. With the Mondeo I had prior to this I found the diesel magic additive made a world of difference, quieter, more power, less smoke and better MPG. I'm just wondering if it will help with the Volvo as well.

What are the experiences of you guys? Worth doing or waste of money?

I just added a bottle of Rednex (?) to my D5 and it made the engine a lot quiter. Not sure it improved economy.

These additives have a Cetane improver, which boosts the quality of the fuel in the tank while the detergents get to work cleaning and lubricating the fuel system.

These products are good to use in the long run and will help to keep the fuel system in optimum condition, they shouldn't be overtreated though and the instructions should be followed.

I've used Stanadyne Performance Formula for the past 5 years in my 163 D5.
She sounds better at 95,000 miles than at 15,000.

There is no smoke/soot output, even at kickdown/redline.
Try flooring your loud pedal at night, using headlamps of the car behind you and see what comes out of the tailpipe !

Average consumption is 48-53 mpg actual, on Tesco supermarket diesel.

I have read about Stanadyne before but have not seen it for sale apart from once in a marine shop where they wanted silly money for it!
I did wonder if it is worth buying it direct from The States.

Where do you get yours?

Following this thread Ive just treated my tank with a double dose of Diesel Magic. Ive also bought a pot of Millers to treat the tank with once the system is clean.
