Ok, managed to remove the light unit, but there was one screw beneath the flap in the middle which easily popped out with a small flat screwdriver. My bulbs were the festoon type which was handy as these were the ones i had ordered and arrived. I too removed the small metal deflectors (wouldn't really call them reflectors as not shiny)! Must say they look so much nicer and can't wait for the rear passenger bulbs to arrive!

Were they 42mm?

Do you also have the extra map reading lights as well as the general ones? 4 blubs over head in the front and 2 in the rear.

Cheers

I only have the two in the front. and the one in the back which is a double one above the rear seats. I have a blue led in the luggage compartment which looks kinda cool! Also yes they are 42mm.

While i am in the process of changing all of the interior bulbs to led's, iv'e thought about doing the vanity mirrors too. The problem i have is that they are SV5.5 according to my hand book, which are festoon type but a bit slimmer! Can't seem to be able to find these on ebay or anywhere, normal or led bulb? Any Advice??

New bulbs delivered today and fitted new luggage compartment bulb (Festoon) and rear passenger over heads (Wedge), had a bit of a moment when one of the bulb holder fell off into the head lining but fortunately I managed to retrieve it!

Pulled the front light unit down with no real problem but it looks like I have got a different unit, there are 4 of the small wedge bulls in little blue holders. The blue holders twist and release but I am not able to get the bub out, is this right, will I need new holders?

Pic of the interior progress so far.

I looked at the foot well bulbs, I think they are wedge but I wasn't able to get one out. Anyone have any tips for this?

Yes they are the wedge type in the footwell, the one side LEDs are the best as they are directional ie point at your feet, I found a large flat blade screwdriver and patience was needed to get them out. Long nosed pliers or curved forceps and even more patience is required to fit them.
As for the map reading lights you will need the adaptors.

I know the type you mean, I will order a pair of them. I got the clear lens off no problem, so do I then push/pull the black rectangular part out or do I leave that in place and pull the bulb out with the holder from the side behind the dash? Might have to wait for some drier weather and broken arm to heal a little more first.

For the map lights do you mean I need to replace the blue twist lock holders? If so are they easy to come by?

Cheers

Found these on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WHITE-3-SM...item2a259f12f7 From Hong Kong so will take a while to arrive, but around £12.00 for the 4 needed it's worth the wait i suppose!
