Can I audio stream from my volvo c30?
I have the bluetooth, but it only seems to connect my phone book and able me to make phone calls.
I can't seem to play my music from my phone through the car. If it doesn't have this feature can you buy something to enable me to do this? Is really annoying. I have a 2010 Volvo c30 thanks. |

The stereo probably doesn't have A2DP support.
Do you have a 3.5mm stereo jack in your arm rest? If so, you can use something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EDUP-3-5mm...p2054897.l4275 |

No, you can't just plug a USB adapter into your cigarette lighter. Your lighter won't be wired into the stereo.
Unless you have a 3.5mm jack or USB connector in the bottom of your arm rest I think you're restricted to CD's and FM radio. The is one other option, but its legality is questionable; as long as it has a CE mark then you should be okay. You can get an FM transmitter, and transmit on an FM frequency from your phone: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/14097...f13=80&ff14=95 or http://www.tmart.com/3.5-mm-Collapsi...FSXItAodbS4ASA Last edited by spikeyrichie; Oct 23rd, 2013 at 14:39. |

The 2 I linked should get you going. You plug the 3.5mm jack into your phone, start playing music, set a transmission frequency on the box I linked, then tune your radio in to that frequency. |

Sounds like too much hassle. I can always burn particular songs I like to CD... I'll have a look to see if I have a jack somewhere in my car anyway. thanks for your help. |

It sounds (no pun intended) worse than it is. Does your stereo read MP3 CD's? Mine doesn't...

Volvo do a connector that enables you to use a usb or an iPod/phone, I know this as I had one fitted in my C30 before I picked it up.
