Information

VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Battery, Starting Car + other issues

RE 2001 S-40 Volvo, Petrol
Mileage = 152,961 in June 2022

Replaced both Battery Cables, Cost = $90usd Labor, $112 parts

Issues that were fixed with the new cables:
** Hard to start the car even with a brand new battery
** Stopped at traffic light Started right back up - but had to enter the Radio Code.
** Other weird electric stuff also
** Solution provided by Gatos and others - Kudos to all.

** FWIW I replaced the entire ignition wiring harness.
the above was causing similar problems - lots of "car shuts off" even at 65mph on the highway - Yowser !
