My current car was my first petrol car ever and I have to say I prefer how quiet and smooth the engine is over my previous diesels.

Anyone any experience of the t-tec upholstery on the cc compared to the leather? Is it hard wearing and comfortable for example?
Exactly and the £1600 over the next 3 years is a lot of fuel to use! Although your mileage means there is some merit in going diesel for you.

I'll be going to test drive both over the weekend and make a decision. I usually drive economically so I know the diesel will save me money on fuel eventually, but that extra £2000 up front and still £1600 after 60,000 miles is a lot.
