Default V40 D2 XC Lux Active Bending Lights

I have recently purchased a 63 plate V40 to the above spec.
Bending lights are enabled in settings, but are not working when driving.
Has anyone had this problem?

Not working at all?
How long have you had the car?
Confirm you have driven it at night?

If the wee box is ticked and you have driven at night then back to your dealer I'm afraid. (they are only bendy at night)

How are you diagnosing that they do not work? The effect on the road is very subtle.

On my V40 to, hence why I was curious. Although the effect is subtle on the move it is certainly noticeable.

I have a V40 to a similar spec. The bending lights only work when a) the car is not stationary, and b) when the ambient daylight is below a certain level, even if you have overridden the auto-on light by switching the lights to on.

The software controlling these is quite sophisticated. My previous Citroen C5 also had these, and I could even program the degree of bending (15 deg or 30 deg, if I remember correctly). Not sure if you can do that on the V40.

I drive in Lincolnshire, a county with a some large distances of bendy rural unlit roads. The bending lights are marginally useful, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if the car didn't have them. Much more useful are the xenon lights - the only downside is that highly reflective road signs seem to confuse the auto-dimming feature of the headlights.
