C30 2.0d Dublin
Hi,
Is there anybody on here based in Dublin that could help me to look at a 2008 C30 2.0d? It is an auto with just 40k documented miles. Would the timing belt still need to have been done on this even with such low miles? Also would there be any way of checking if the dpf needed replacing? Appreciate any help (from Dubliners or otherwise!) |

When I contacted Volvo they told me to get mine done at 120,000 or 10 years. I had mine done at 60,000 though as that's the usual timing belt time and its piece of mind for me. As far as the DPF goes they are due for replacement at 75,000 miles. That's only if yours has one though!

Mine is every 108k miles or 10 years, which ever came first. And it lasted fine up till 94k / 9 1/2 years, which is when I got it done.
You might be able to check with a Volvo garage as for when its due, if its not due, then I wouldn't worry about it. Volvo are confident enough to claim it will last that long.
