i think i miss understood you, i thought you've been saying p1's as in phase 1. not pi as in the suspension brand, confusion as never heard of them

Been a round for years PI have not all out race brand like Eibach or H&R but a good brand started out in the 90's i believe.

May I ask... I've read through the thread and can't see any pictures... I am interested in how the car will sit once these are fitted (1999 1.9D S40) so have you got any pictures at all?

Also, are they suitable for the 1.9 Diesel? (My MG's had different spring rates for the different engines)

Don't know about diesels but you could look up on the PI website and check fitting.
