Question Damp footwell

Help please,

My 940 estate has a constantly damp o/s front footwell.there is no great loss of coolant and no anti-freeze smell ,I am not sure where the heater matrix leaks to but I don't think it is that.Anyone any ideas?

Thanks in advance
Mike

Check that the drain holes located along the underside edge of sill are clear.

There are a couple of leak points caused by ill-fitting loom grommets. The grommets pass from the inside of the car to the space between inner and outer wings. The one I cured was on the passenger side up and to left of the glovebox. It is tricky to get at but can result in floods of water whenever it rains. Other leaks can be caused by sunroof drain tube blockages.

All the best, Peter.

Default Check rear washer pipe joints!

It routes through the footwell, that may have a leaking joint.
