1. is it a d24TiC 2. bushings??
hi there,
me again, I have a 745TD.. here's the latest.. I was under the front of my car today, and I saw that I have two radiators one in front of the other.... Now, I have only had petrol volvos... Am I meant to believe that my TD is actually the d24TiC?? Secondly.. My tank kinda wanders over the road.. now there's absolutly 0% of play in the steering, and it's nice and light... but I had the wheel off and I cheched the brake discs (which need replacing) but I say on the anti-roll bar, the rubbers were all withered.. could this be the problem??? If so, whats the best deal out there in Volvoland for a full set of front bushings?? many thanks Simon

If there is a large diameter tube coming from in front of the battery and crossing over the top of the engine to the inlet manifold stub, then you have a D24TIC. If, however, the turbo joins to the inlet manifold via a short straight pipe on the same side as the turbo then you have a D24T.
Bushings can be obtained through German, Swedish & French, either mail order or from Belfast or Dublin branches. Belfast branch 'phone is 028 9066 3866 and the Dublin 'phone is 01 460 6062. The number for the antiroll bar bushing link/bushings kit is V42280K. You will need two of these kits. I have not yet found the bushing reference for the two saddle bushings which hold the bar to the chassis. All the best, Peter. |

hi there..
well, the turbo looks as if it's attatched to the exhaust manifold, so, peter, I assume it's a d24T.. THanks As for the aircon, yes it does have it... does that expalin the two radiators?? Thanks

That sure does! The other one is called a condenser.
I assume that you mean the turbo is connected to inlet manifold by straight almost vertical tube. All the best, Peter. |

hi there,
I have attatched a picture of the left side of the car (if you're looking into the engine bay from the front) I have labeled the things on it.. I hope this can clarify things..
