Caliper rebuild
Hi,
Just got my 760 back from a Volvo garage and apparently one of the sliders on the front near side is seized which has caused the pads and disc to wear unevenly, so it looks like I need to replace the calipers, discs and pads on the front. How hard is it to rebuild the calipers using the rebuild kits that are available? If this isn't a realisitc option, does anybody have any thoughts on the quality of remanufactured calipers vs buying new ones? |

brake caliper
new calipers can be obtained from euro car parts for £70, repair kits are also available depending on the year.

You can re-build most callipers with new sliders etc.
I have found most parts available from: http://www.brakeparts.co.uk/ Parts come next day. Great service. You can see pictures of most of the parts as well with dimensions.
