'07 S40 Headlight query

My headlight is cracked, I've tried to fix it with headlight tape, but it's a load of rubbish and it's leaking again already.

I've been looking to replace, but I'm having trouble finding one. Mine have the daylight running lights but they're not xenon. I found one on eBay that looks exactly the part, but has a different part number! Is it likely to be compatible??

As long as it is a facelift headlamp (57 onwards), I think it should be ok. Can you post a link to the one you have seen?

I take it you cant put some clear silicone sealant on it?

im selling the headlights from my 56 reg S40...
havent listed them as seperate items on ebay yet though the complete car is there

Do the xenon ones have the drivers in the headlight?
Mine seemed extremely bright on main beam but look as though they have standard bulbs in them?

They look identical so would imagine it should be ok.
