Replacing the factory amp
Hi there
I'm thinking about changing the factory amp to something like the Gladen 130.4 DSP, which is a four channel amp with built in DSP. I want to do that because I have an aftermarket sub for which I tapped into the front door speaker wires, and the modified audio signal from the head unit is really obvious and it's bugging me. What are my options regarding the optical output of the Head Unit? Will it work if I get some kind of an adapter (Optical to RCA)? Will it work but I'll lose some functions? Is it even doable? |
