does anyone by any chance have or know where i can get a front windscreen wiper motor for a 89 240glt thankyou

If you do a search of the forum you will find several posts refering to how people have fixed them. Might be worth opening it up and having a look.

Follow Chester6's tips and try to refurb yours. There's also a breaker in the south of england who'll sell you one for £30. I googled volvo wiper motor 240 and it came up. Or you can buy a new one from the states for about the same.

But seriously - it's monster easy to refurb. I refurbed mine, and it's sweet as a nut. Search under 'wiper' in the 240 area, and follow chester6's instructions.

I've just completely refurbed my entire wiper assembly - motor, rack, cams, spindles etc.

Clearly, all our 1989 models are going tits up at the same time!

hi all thanks for help i have found a volvo breakers at swaffham in norfolk who does quite alot of 240 and other spares got motor 35 quid delivered next day lots of other spares available any one need anything let me know and i will find details
