Looking at the amount of clutter around the car, i'd want paying just to get near it Alan!

In the description it says "The engine lights came on , but couldn’t start it as no battery".

If there is no battery, what is the engine light powered from ?

I wonder where people have got the idea from that 'barn finds' are so valuable. I try to imagine a scenario where a chap comes across something that is only about 30 years old, hasn't been run for a decade, has no title and no provenance, and his/her first thought is 'someone will be stupid enough to pay me £5,000 for this'... we see it a lot.

People go into Halfrauds every day, so therefore these mugs do exist!

Never give a sucker an even break, I think was the old adage.

Good point. I still get irritated that people think they can unload their crappy old stuff onto some mug for much more than it is worth.

I concur, that's why I shout at the TV at virtually every advert, because that's what's happening.

I have submitted my thesis for my D.Phil. as a curmudgeonly old git!

:-)
This rusty old bus made £920 - I thought that was quite strong for a motor car with no MoT.

:-)
