Defo don’t put them back till it’s done. If you have a domestic de humidifier at home, I’d stick that in as well

Push up against the windscreen at the top, Any movement will be your issue.

You can complain to volvo customer services to get the windscreen removed, resealed and refitted FOC. But they will also say any form of damage, will be chargeable by a new 'screen.
I had a bit more of a whinge and managed to get them to pay half when they found that mine had de-laminated in one of the corners. (typical for me)



Bringing the bill from £450 ish down to £220ish. The labour for removing and inspecting the screen was free.



Just make sure you go through their customer service hotline and get it logged. Makes your and the dealer's life 100% easier!



Other issue may be the drains in the air con system may be clogged. Does your car leave a wet patch after you've run it for maybe 15 mins in one spot?
