Which code reader for an airbag investigation/reset please?

Airbag light on a 2003 S40 out of the blue, and I’ve previously just taken car to the man. Probably time I got a code reader and started at least doing a bit of homework, but my current obdII (for the fun car) won’t read the car as only has 2004 onwards on its library.

And I’m panicking with no airbags now!

Thanks if anyone can point me in the direction of one that can read and maybe clear airbag codes.

join yorksire volvo group on facebook meet and chat with some members someone will have vida and will help with code reading and re sets of emls or if you are prepared to travel a little there are at least 4 similar groups in the north west with some meets most weekends.ps there is a s40 /v50 group on facebook also.
