Help Help Help!!!
just taken my bump strips off and im left with a crappy load of adhesive on the car,,, what can i use to get it off ive tried a credit card and water and it takes ages, hair dryer seemed to melt my paint! lol. PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

you need tar and glue remover from any car parts place

I had a similar problem and sadly its just going to take ages. I used tar and glue remover to no effect but perhaps I had a bad brand. I ended up using SUrgical spirits I had laying around the garage and took my time.

I used some white spirit and a heat gun-but very small amounts of heat though so not to damage the paint. You're prob. gonna need a bottom half re-spray after...

well rekon ill try again at the weekend when i can see! looks like they used foam adhesive strips so some foam strip is stuck on some adhesive, SO I REKON ILL SOAK IT IN TAR REMOVER THEN POWER WASHER IT TO SEE WHAT IT GETS OFF THEN USE WD40/SPIRITS TO SEE WHAT I CAN GET OFF,,, WHATCHA THINK??

Try acetone (cheapo nail polish remover) but try an hidden bit of paint first to make sure it doesn't do forn that too,) and also try.. petrol!
