Unfortunately it is crunch time.
If there is no interest in what must be one of the last good examples of these cars then i will drive it to a breakers who agreed to buy it off me and thinks that it is worth more in bits than it is as a whole.

The car is an automatic estate, olive green, with a genuine 95.5k miles. First registered in November 1995/N the car has a full service history and 2 former keepers. I also have the last 4 MOT’s.

Since I have owned the car it has been serviced by both RT Mechanics in Liphook and more recently SW Autos in Biddendon who are both performance Volvo specialists.

I have receipts for all work undertaken including replacement cam belt, replacement battery, wishbone arms and numerous other works. Also it still has the original T5R mats, document wallet and the load cover.

Additionally a tow bar has been fitted, but it has never towed, I have used it to mount a bike rack to.

There are only 2 problems that I am aware of. There is a crack in the plastic near the CD changer (see photo) and more recently the gearbox has started slipping and is now in limp mode. All of the other toys work.

Otherwise it drives well. and i would say is in good condition. I will be taking it to the breakers on Sat 28th March.

£700 will grab you a bargain and and a fine example.

Some may notice that I have advertised it previously but was perhaps a little optimistic on the price.

Lee

You can not take this to the Breakers you fool, no matter what they offer.
At £700 it shouldn't take long to sell.

I really hope it finds a home with someone who will repair it as it looks a nice car.

Limp mode - the arrow light on the dash is flashing and you can feel the car is not developing full power. As far as i understand this happens when the ecu detects a fault in the engine or gearbox and limits power to prevent damage.
