Default Volvo XC60 passenger door look problem?

Hi all
I have a Volvo XC60 2013 and I have a problem with the passenger door lock on that it’s stuff and won’t unlock, it locks by remote fine and by locking from the inside, but it isn’t popping up enough to unlock so the passenger can’t get in from outside, has anyone else had this problem and how do I go or what do I need to do to fix it?
Thank you

Sounds similar to my problem - its clearly an issue as I've read others with door lock problems.

I had to get the entire lock replaced on mine

In every Volvo I have owned in the last decade, the locks on the doors have failed a number of times which required a new lock.

Seems to be a weak spot, at least as far as I'm concerned.

I see, annoying thing is the car locks and when you go to unlock it again, the lock ever so slightly pops up I mean it’s literally mm futher up and it would unlock.
It seems to be getting stuck the last few mm?
Where do you get a new lock installed and what price am I looking at?
Thanks once again

I went to Volvo each time. For the new lock plus fitting, I paid around £300 from memory. Independent garages quoted similar prices so I stuck with Volvo.
