I have new device.
It is connected to the OBD connector
Disables the start-stop function (MY2016-MY2017) and will make it possible to close tailgate from the remote fob or interior button.
Works on XC60,XC70,V70 MY2012-MY2017.

Evgeny, if it is plugged into the OBD socket, does it draw power at all times? How much are you selling these for?

This looks a lot more simple to install than the earlier tailgate closure module that I have which required me to remove the interior lining from the tailgate and patch cables into existing connectors. Just to plug the thing into the OBD2 socket is a no brainer and even if you have to remove it for diagnostics, it is easier and more reliable than digging around inside the tailgate! The stop/start mod doesn't apply to my 2012 XC70 but the tailgate mod is very useful.

Might I add a thought that Evgeny might like to look at. This morning I came down to find the tailgate on my XC70 open. I don't think I left it open when I locked the car last night. I know that my XC70 will relock the doors if they are unlocked on the remote and then not opened within a specified period of time. While this was never possible with the tailgate might Evgeny not look at integrating the tail gate into this auto reclose function. My problem seems to be that the buttons on the fob can get accidentally pressed from within the house and our lounge is adjacent to the drive on which the car is parked. With the doors I may never know how many times this happens because they will relock but with the tailgate, once open, it stays open. Is this something that Evgeny could look at and consider whether it is possible and/or desirable to integrate the closing of the tailgate into the relocking function? And could this be included in his new style OBD2 socket connected module?

Is it possible to make some kind of interface that can be updated with new firmware options and set-up via phone bluetooth?

Yes it pluget the OBD socket.
The module consumes 10-15mA during operation and approximately 3mA in sleep mode. The sleep mode enters a few minutes after the termination of the exchange via the CAN bus.
Information about the cost wrote in PM

Start/stop was available on XC70 already model year 2012, but only in combination with manual gearbox.
If you wanted an automatic, you had to wait longer.

I would be very interested in a device connected to the OBD to close the tailgate via the remote or internal switch on the dashboard. I have a 2015 XC70 lux nav automatic.

I bought this from Taiwan.

Arrived quickly and the tailgate operation works flawlessly.

Don't know about the stop/start option as my 2008 XC70 Lux D5 Polestar doesn't have that.

Paid less than what's quoted - presume exchange rates and Brexit might have something to do with that.
