Question red warning triangle and seating graphic problem

I had my 2013 V70 MOT'd yesterday. The rear seatbelts were still clipped-in when I picked up the car (as part of the MOT checks). Since then, I've had the red triangle warning light illuminated along with the seating graphic in the centre display, implying an issue with the seatbelts. I have undone the seat belts, and since then passengers have sat in the rear seats, but the warning sign persists. Has anyone else seen this & what was the solution ?

thanks in advance

Have they moved your drivers or passengers seat and by chance moved a broken wire? Problem could be with the front seats not the back. Any wire dangling give a gentle move round and see if that helps. A old car of. Mine had a abs light or something like that due to a faulty wire under my drivers seat which was aggravated when the seat was moved.

Probably one of the pressure sensors in the seat gone us telling the car that someone is sitting in the seats with no seat belt fastened.

Easy to test this, buckle the seat belts one at a time untill warning goes out.
