Sorry I don't know what to do - it opens for me.

Gist of it is Ben Hayes getting CCJ against David Wilce of PGi Farnham / PGi Volvo Estates / DAH Investments regarding his car which started exhibiting faults the same day he bought it, followed by the story of Lewis Holland whose PGi car had a twisted chassis and David Wilce exchanged it for a Ford Ka which was almost as bad, followed by the story of my own CCJ against PGi (still unpaid). I posted it on the VPCUK forum and everyone over there seems to be able to open it. I don't know what to suggest. Perhaps you could try the thread on the other site ...

You're not au fait with the whole sorry mess obviously. The company I sued "ceased trading" when I said I was taking them to court. All the assets had "gone" and they were trading under an alternative name, PGi Volvo Estates, (except when it suited them to trouser cash and issue sale documents and warranties in the old name a full 8 months later in at least one proven case "by accident because it was a valet who sold the car (!!) and he didn't know what company he worked for" (give me a break!) and with the assets of PGi Farnham Limited being "gone" bailiffs can't recover anything. However Ben sued David Wilce personally so if Wilce hadn't paid him then Ben could have sent the bailiffs to his poncy home to recover his money. As he also owes me expenses money from Ben's claim, which he HASN'T paid I have contacted the court who are going to get the judge to issue directions - which may mean I can get bailiffs to get my money (he will of course have to pay for the bailiffs and court fees as well as my £19.40 court expenses he owes) so he's being pretty stupid not paying £19.40 and facing all the fees and charges on top which may cost hundreds.

I may start my whole claim again, against HIM rather than the now liquidated company I sued (which is not the OTHER company liquidated shortly after or the current company which is already in trouble). As the Judge allowed Ben to sue him personally I can argue that a liability precedent has been set and unless he plans to hand over ownership of ALL his assets to his missus Esther Wilce (who could always then do a bunk and who could blame her - get all his dosh and get rid of the nasty piece of work in one fell swoop, but then again I hear she's a nasty piece of work too) then I can get bailiffs to take the money he owes me, which will of course be enhanced by buckets of interest since the defaulted-on CCJ for £4k+ of Feb 2007. On the other hand, he could just pay me the money and stop being an ****hole! Pigs and aeroplanes come to mind. He would however stop being written about, at least by THIS disgruntled customer, if not by the many others. I have stated many times that all this posting (by me) will stop if and when he pays up. If not he better be ready with the next 20 company start-ups. Just because he doesn't specialise in Volvos anymore doesn't mean he can escape - there are MANY motoring forums and I have time to spare ...

Have now looked up some of the background you deserve some credit for your tenacity in persuing this case , if more people did the same there wouldnt be as many scumbags in the motor trade . You would think the good ones would form some kind of association to deal with the minority of idiots who give them all a bad name , it seems unfair to me that you have to spend your own time and resources persuing this as its no longer at a stage where there is any doubt about the liability and yet you still have all this legal crap to deal with .

One down - two more to go.

On a serious note, though - I wonder where David Wilce has moved his questionable cars (and under what name he will be attempting to offload them).
