I got "anti skid temporarily off" the other day.

Worst I had was "oil level low - fill oil" followed within 5 miles by "oil level low - stop safely" which, as I pulled into the services, changed to "oil level low - STOP ENGINE". Fortunately it was a dodgy sensor - and it wasn't recorded!

I also had "reduced engine power" - again, a dodgy sensor, but it was reset by the dealer & so far (touch wood) I've not seen it again.

And of course, there's "NO MESSAGE"

what happens is in the morning when i start the car the message display works fine but after i drive about 2 miles it goes off and usually does not come on again till the next morning
the back light still comes on but there is no letters or numbers displayed
