hi, can anyone tell me how many different/types of messages get displayed by the info display ,,,so far ive had a door,,boot,,,open warning and a blown tail light bulb,,

just curious as it not covered in great depth in the hand book

hi mo,thanks for the reply,i understand about the [red] engine messages its the [orange] not that critical messages im not sure about ie,it tells me ive left a door open,and my tail light is blown,does it tell me my tyre pressures are low or my washer fluid is about to run out, hope you understand what i mean

If you fot the sensors fitted then it would tell your pressures are low..it will tell you about washer fluid.coolant low will show up too...alarm fob battery low.. to be honest i havent seen any other messages on my screen apart from bulbs doors and boot and the occasional washer fluid....

There's also "Alarm Triggered"

Which is accompanied by the LED flashing quickly.
Will also display fault codes.
Pushing READ cycles through the messages, unless you've cleared them.

Also if you got a trip computer it displays the miles to empty tank,instant mpg,average speed and average mpg..

well thanks for the answers lads sound pretty cool,unfortunatley i dont have a trip computer its on the might do list of upgrades depending on how much cost is involved,

The oddest message I have had is 'Rear 12v Supply in use' When I had something plugged into the rear (V70) 12v supply.
