Wanted! Amazon 122s
Hello all. I have just rejoined the VOC after a few years away, and I am now looking for a 122s. (I previously owned a 122s -LYA331E -which I saw featured in a magazine in early 2010. If only I'd had the money to buy it back!! ) I have a sum in the region of £3300 to spend, so I know that whatever car I end up with will not be pristine. However, it should be in reasonable order all round, with an MOT and tax, so that it can be driven home to East Kilbride (just south of Glasgow) from the place of purchase. I hope I will be swamped with possible purchases soon! You can contact me on 07967242723. If I do not respond immediately, I will get in touch as soon as possible. Thanks.

Amazon cars have a for sale and wanted section on their website so keep an eye out there as well and worth sending Emma an email to post a wanted ad.

I now own said car LYA 331E and am doing a total rolling resto. I enquired a while back via this forum if anyone knew of the car but had no answers. Can you shed some history on the old girl, now known as Amy.

Hello.
Hello there. I am absolutely delighted to hear from you, and to finally have tracked down LYA331E. I miss that car very much. I parted with it about 12 years ago, to go back to biking. Things have gone full circle, the motorbike having been sold 2 weeks ago and, all being well, on Saturday, I will become the owner of a 122s again. My name is Arthur, and please feel free to email me on arthurgray@blueyonder.co.uk and I can answer your questions about the car. Thanks for getting in touch.

LYA331E Photos.
After initial contact with you, I have gone down to Boots and had all my old photos of the car transferred on to a CD and, subsequently, on to my computer. Once you get in touch by email,, I will be able to send them down to you, as well as telling you about the history of the car during my ownership. Arthur.
