Default BSR Optiflow kit 850 / x70 >'98

I've just removed this from my '97 S70 T5 in order to reinstate the original airbox. The filter needs a clean and the stainless steel metal shield has some flaking paint but its complete

Full details here - http://www.bsr-tuning.co.uk/products/4900701/ According to the manufacturer this will fit the following -

Volvo 850 2.0T
Volvo 850 AWD
Volvo 850 R
Volvo 850 T5
Volvo C70 2.0T 1997-1998
Volvo C70 2.4T/2.5T 1997-1998
Volvo C70 T5 1997-1998
Volvo S/V 70 1997-1998 2.4T/2.5T
Volvo S/V 70 1997-1998 R
Volvo S/V 70 1997-1998 T5

It costs £112 new, so call it £50 plus £5 postage to a UK mainland address?

Will swap for early 850 RIP kit

No interest? How about £40 plus postage then?

It'll go on ebay at £50 if nobody here wants it at £40

I don't know is the simple answer.

BSR have 2 kits though - one is mine and suits the (what appears to be) pre ME7 cars, while the other one appears to be for ME7 versions? Info on that kit is here - http://www.bsr-tuning.co.uk/products/4900703/

That kit (not mine) fits the following

Volvo C70 2.0T 1999-2005
Volvo C70 2.4T/2.5T 1999-2005
Volvo C70 T5 1999-2005
Volvo S/V 70 1999-2000 2.0T
Volvo S/V 70 1999-2000 2.4T/2.5T
Volvo S/V 70 1999-2000 R
Volvo S/V 70 1999-2000 T5

I don't know whether the AMM is a larger diameter perhaps? Thats all I can think of really!

I'm assuming you're putting the original airbox back in to gain the extra 3-4bhp you lose, by installing a cone filter...!!?? That's what I did on mine anyway, lol

Indeed

I've never been a fan of these, and I want my S70 T5 to be visually as close to std as possible. The original style airbox is already in place

With a freer-flowing pancake filter, the standard set up is way the best. I stuck a Pipercross filter in my airbox and the difference was palpable..

Hi wagonwheels, no I still have it - I've been distracted by some other work on my S70.
