Default 2001 S60 Water in rear light trunk

Hi!
I`m new here, so I hope that you all respect me if I make some mistakes posting here.

The problem is that after every car wash, every rainy day I need to go to my car, open the trunk, open the sidre trunk (where I can get to rear light bulbs...) and down there I can see more or less water (depends how hard it was raining).
Does anyone had this problem ?
I dont really have a solution to this, but I want to ask - I can try to remove rear lights by unscrewing those 4? screws. Then put some kind of a rubber seal or put sealant around the light and then just put everything back together.

Maybe some have better solution ?
I also was thinking to drill a hole in both sides at the bottom of the light trunk, but this is not the best idea

Both sides or just the left side? If left side only, make sure the rubber cap for the trunk wiring is properly in place (like here at 2:00 https://youtu.be/O1ruROdlZkk )
If it's rather on both sides, see if there's a problem with the 'vent' grids attached to the rear fenders (from inside, behind those side trunk covers). I'm yet to hear about the back lights letting water in, unless they have already been removed for some reason at some point, and not put back correctly.
While there, pull the battery and try removing the black cover of that piece with battery cables, it might have been corroded inside and may cause problems. Also look with a flash light at the Rear electronic module (left side) for any water leaks on it

Hi oragex,

Mostly the left side. On the right side there are tiny leaks which I can easily track.
I did check that rubber wiring thing in trunk, but it seems to be ok. Looks good and it`s on place.
I did not really understand the second recommendation about the "vent grids". Can you show me using the pictures or a video ?

Is there any seal between the lights and the car body ? I could try to unscrew the light and put something, that could stop the leakage.
