Modern cars cannot be stolen without a key, hence the key nicking from coat pockets and hallways not to mention getting the VIN off the little sign in the windshield and then getting a copy from the dealer.

ENCRYPTED IGNITION KEYS
With the encrypted keys/immobilisers which are impossible to start when the key or car bits play up,just how do the scroats manage to knick them without a key?.
I appreciate that no one takes much notice of alarms going off but as the owner with a perhaps faulty but correct key can't start it and yet the tea leaves can. |
