Default Volvo 740 1988 GL Auto Estate front Bulbs wanted

Hi can someone help me source the front running light bulbs for my Volvo...Because the bayonet fitting into the holder has offset pins I can only get the bulb with two filaments that has offset pins. I need a single filament bulb with offset pins.

I have tried everywhere to get them including Halfords...

Any ideas

Thanks

Bill

Have you tried Euro Car Parts? I had the same issue with an old Merc estate, the previous owner had wedged straight pin bulbs in with cardboard, so my taillights would go out whenever I hit a pothole! ECP supplied the correct ones in the end.

You need the twin filament bulbs Bill, 21/5W, that is the original and correct fitment.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lucas-LLB...0/112775125600

They also fit the stop/tail lights at the rear so worth having a few spares.

To my knowledge, there has never been a single filament bulb with offset pins and twin contacts to fit in that bulb holder.

Single filment 21w clear bulbs are available, called 'bau15s'.

No text on the old bulbs?

Yes, there are but they are the wrong bulbs for the front of a 1988 740. If it's the indicator bulbs, they would be correct but not for the sidelight/DRL.
