Average Age of XC90 Owners? - Page 6

41 - had my T6 for almost a year. Came from a Saab 9-5 Aero, so yep, see the performance drop, and yes, I got grief from the in-laws about having such a big car, but the complaints soon stopped in the snow

Late this year or early next year as a replacement for the RX300.

There's a V8 half a mile from my house, every time I drive past it I think, "Wonder when he's gonna sell it?"

Ha ha - It's due to the enthusiasm of my missus that I am going for it ! I was undecided.

I am getting stressed about selling my vRS now, or I'll need to insure & tax two cars come May...that wasn't part of the plan !

A V8....mmmm - that sure sounds good...apart from the fuel bills ! Whhhotcha !

I can see where the "old-man" image of Volvos comes from.

My XC90 went into the local stealers for some work today, and to their credit, they've lent me an almost new V50. Sorry for any of you who own a V50, nice car that it is, it's no XC90.

Mind you, I almost took a photo of the trip computer, it showed the average mpg of 51.5 !! I don't quite get that in my T6

harvey07: Not sure how accurate this is, or what the other drivers were like, but a few people have posted on here, getting BETTER mpg on their V8 that I get on my T6, but maybe my right foot is heavier, who knows?

Don't think it is the right foot being heavier, but that is what I also heard.
But the V8 will be mine and she will get to keep her puny T6. LOL

Aged 36. Just got a 2011MY XC90 Exec

Came from a Cayenne Turbo. New car is a little bit slower but a bit better looking!

"A little bit slower" was the part of cx90's comment that really caught my interest: is the XC90 chipped (& chippped & chipped & chipped) or have you attached booster rockets?
