Ben at Tinus tuning is a very nice guy. I collected some shocks the other day when he was working on the new foundation for a new Workshop/storage.

Decide on what you want and then just ask the experts like Ben or KG how to get it. within your budget. Don't try and work it out for yourself with what might work, or someone said this or that. There's a lot of wrong information out there. These guys should be telling you what to do to get what you want, that is why you are buying their parts. We aren't the experts.

The rust will never be gone and is what I do for a living. The rust hunter.

D'accord. I'll ask him.
Well, you're never going to be out of a job, then! Cheers.

Nope, as long as we keep making stuff out of mild steel and dumping it in the ocean or next to it I'm good.

Ah, living where u do is next to it i guess. I went to look at a 240 Torslanda near Mallaig, described as " good, minor rust in usual places, nothing major". One could see that it was once a 240. . . the blighter.

Thanks for the link.

I think joke here will go over the heads of most

Most cams are not always all that well thought out and they do just go with the easy path of giving both the intake and exhaust the same profile. It takes a lot more thought to look at how the intake and exhaust side flow and using cam lift and duration to let the engine make best use of what is available

That is what I thought; valves are different sizes, flow in and out is different so in my head having different lift and duration seems like a logical idea. But I am no cam expert!
