Hi
2.4 D5 from 2010 with 375300 km Limb home mode. Fault codes: ECM-P000BD00 and ECM-P029900 I have done a smoke leak detection test - and could not see any smoke coming out anywhere! Vida says that if those both fault codes are present at the same time - it must be a air leak, between turbo and throttle. Im lost! Only other person with both these fault codes present, Ive found on the Internet, had done cam belt change and had not locked the cams - so one of the cams had jumped 4 teeths. And the valves were toast. |

I have found out that at >2500 rpm - there is pressure in the rocker cover and it blows out air from one of the inlet side, screw holes, on the rocker cover/inlet manifold.
There is no vacuum =( I have already changed the gasket - due to the owner finding small oil leak and bubles, after filling spit in the screw hole. I have tightened all the screws to 10 nm. The PCV system on these cars is not much for the world. There are no valves and no oil separator. As I understand it - there is only the oil filter housing/oil separator. Can THAT get clogged? Or am I looking at a engine with leaking cylinders? |

Second hand rocker cover solved the problem - at least for now.
