Default FS: 850R nivomats x2

As you may have read a while ago, I replaced the nivomats on my 850R with new ones after one side of the car appeared to drop a bit. It only dropped twice that I noticed, with about 2 weeks in between the instances. It was the same side that dropped - the other side was never affected.

I fitted replacements as I was about to go on a Scottish touring holiday with my disabled mother - so I didn't want to risk a suspension failure with her in the back !

The other side was fine and never had any issues. The car had done about 86k miles at that point - its a Japanese import, so they're not rusty at all, however a less than careful workshop bod managed to spray underseal over one of them.

Looking for £120 for the pair, plus postage if you can't collect from Doncaster.

Obviously they're used parts, so may last a few years, or may last a few months. No warranty implied or given etc

Hi Ian,

The ride height will be the same, but the damping will be slightly different - IIRC Volvo changed the spring rates & dampers slightly between the T-5R and 850R.

So they will fit, and the ride height will be correct, but the damping is different - enough to notice? I'm not sure...

Forgot to mention, they'll come with a pair of new, genuine Volvo top mounts as well They alone cost me over £100 as I recall!

Let me know if you're still interested, thanks

Hi, thanks for the info, it's much appreciated! The l/h Nivomat on my car was replaced, I was just going to use 1 of your Nivomats on the r/h side and keep 1 as a spare. Sorry that your Nivomats are not compatible, thank you for your information and good luck with the sale!

If it was me i would fit them. its not a long job to replace them both. No skill required and as Rolling thunder says, they may last the car to the scrap heap!!. That's a good price in my opinion!

I should have updated this sorry -

Following Ian above, I have one potential buyer*, and another in a list should the first person showing interest not want them.

*I'm just sorting out postage quotes, then I should know where we are.
