I never knew that place was there. I was going to take a trip up to Adversane Vehicle breakers or the one at pease pottage to get some bits. I'll give them a try first - a damn site closer to Worthing that the other 2.

It certainly proves that the number plate censoring doesn't work properly!

Not been on here for some time, as original computer died.......

Ingleside Garage has lots of 700/900 stuff on the shelfs so not the old-type scrap yard/self-removal place - you walk out with clean hands! He's just round the corner from us, and Graham's a very likeable rogue who certainly knows his cars. Therefore take your chassis number when asking for bits when you don't turn up in the actual car.

Skysurfer - blue 1800S eh! Have I parked my pale blue 164E next to you at some show or other? Perhaps you've seen a bright blue 122S at shows too - that belongs to the Section Leader of the Sussex Section of the VOC. Come and introduce yourself at the next section meeting at Bramber - if the weather still rubbish, its no offence to turn up in a disposable Eurobox: she sometimes goes in her Renault!

Don't think Adversane break vehicles anymore, a mate of mine works there they just scrap them now, btw I am about 2 mile up the road from there in Billingshurst.

Can confirm that Adversane no longer break cars. Scrap only. changed alot since i was last in. Took a jcb to be weighed in a couple of weeks ago.
